This training course aims at training early stage researchers (ESR) on AtlantECO’s standard sampling and sample analysis methods for the study of marine microbiomes, microplastics and the plastisphere, specifically:
- Provide an overview and generate interest in sampling & analysis protocols
- Foster a network of individuals/labs along the Atlantic coast of Africa
- Set the stage for coordinated sampling efforts, including the All Atlantic Ocean Sampling Day (September 21st - equinox)
