Havvind provides opportunities to create many new jobs, both in the construction phase and in the operational phase. This contributes to economic growth and increased employment. In addition, offshore wind projects can be integrated with maritime industries to promote sustainable development in coastal areas, for example in Haugalandet, which is a region linked to the Utsira-Nord project.
