Objective
The aim of this First Aid Refresher Module is to review and build on previously gained knowledge and skills from GWO First Aid through theoretical and practical training so that delegates can administer safe and effective First Aid in the wind industry in accordance with GWO First Aid training.
Target Group
Personnel working in the wind industry or related fields needing to refresh their GWO First Aid Module
Prerequisites
Valid GWO First Aid Certificate
Examination
Delegates will be assessed according to the learning outcomes stated in Section 1.6 by means of direct observation and supplementary oral questions, where appropriate.
The assessment shall be conducted during practical scenarios based on the wind turbine work environment. Each delegate shall demonstrate the ability to deal with a casualty that is:
- Unconscious
- Requires CPR
A scenario as detailed in Section 1.9 - Lesson 6
