Objective
The aim of this Fire Awareness Module is to review and build on previously gained knowledge and skills through theoretical and practical training so that delegates can prevent fires, make initial and appropriate judgement when evaluating fire and if it is judged to be safe, to efficiently extinguish an initial fire by using basic hand held fire fighting equipment in accordance with GWO Refresher Fire Awareness training.
Target Group
Personnel working in the wind industry or related fields needing to refresh their GWO Fire Awareness Module
Prerequisites
Valid GWO Fire Awareness certificate
Examination
Assessment of learning outcomes:
Delegates will be assessed according to the learning outcomes stated in Section 1.6 by means of direct observation and supplementary oral questions, where appropriate.
