Objective
Only those who know their equipment and can use it correctly are always safe and smart. This course prepares the participants for the proper handling of PPE. In addition to the common procedures for rescue and evacuation from high-altitude workplaces, the participants are trained on the use of common rescue and descender devices. Differences in equipment are explained comprehensively to the participants, as well as the proper rescue and recovery of casualties.
The course GWO Working at heights is carried out exactly according to the guidelines of the DGUV and the GWO and also provides an understanding of the applicable national legislation for working at height.
Target Group
Employees in the wind industry, who have to carry out work onshore or offshore at sea, e.g. enter a wind turbine. Furthermore, this course is important for anyone in other industries who does height works with the risk of falling.
