Ordinance 949-A/2006, of 11 Sept., amended by Ordinance No. 252/2015, of 19 Aug. on the Technical Rules for Low Voltage Electrical Installations (RTIEBT), defines a set of installation and safety standards to be observed in the design and dimensioning of low voltage electrical installations, which will be developed within the scope of this course.
Prerequisites
Engineer of the specialty of electrotechnical engineering or technical engineer of the specialty of energy and power systems engineering.
Technicians responsible for the design and operation of private service electrical installations

Learning outcomes
At the end of the training activity, the student will be able to:
• Preparing and interpreting specifications, translating them into an installation project capable of performing the intended functions during the useful life of all its components, satisfying the best conditions of efficiency and reliability
• Identifying, selecting and sizing materials, accessories and equipment acceptable in electrical installations
• Conceiving and designing electrical installations in accordance with the applicable legal and regulatory framework and rules of good engineering practice, for the purposes of licensing and operation.
