Solar energy is the most abundant source of energy on Earth, and Portugal has excellent conditions to make use of this energy, through its conversion into electricity.
With the entry into force of Decree-Law n.º 15/2022, of January 14, new rules are established applicable to self-consumption of renewable energy, which imply changes to the design, installation and licensing of PV systems in Self-consumption, that is, consumption ensured by electricity produced by Production Units for Self-Consumption (UPAC) and carried out by one or more self-consumers of renewable energy.
These changes require specific skills from designers that ISQ proposes to develop through this course, where a strong practical component of design is foreseen.
Prerequisites
Graduates and Bachelors in Electrotechnical and Electromechanical Engineering. (Necessary requirement to sign photovoltaic projects).
Proof must be provided: CH or OE or OET registration
Grant opportunities
DISCOUNTS:
10% on two or more registrations from the same company.
Learning outcomes
• Identify and characterize the different equipment and components applied in different types of photovoltaic solar systems;
• Drawing up and interpreting the customer's specifications, translating them into a project for a Production Unit for Self-Consumption (UPAC), in accordance with the applicable legal and regulatory framework and rules of good engineering practice;
• Coordinate the installation, operation and maintenance of photovoltaic solar systems.
