Objects of study: navigation processes, navigation equipment, navigation service systems and processes; methods of handling and placing cargo on ships; technical systems and ship complexes (ship mechanical systems, electrical equipment and electronic equipment and control systems, radio communication systems); methods of operation of ships and their systems, management of ship operations; organization of crew work and care for people on ships; ship traffic control systems; shipping safety systems
Training of applicants for higher education in educational and professional program "Navigation" provides:
- compliance with the requirements of the standards of competence established by regulations III / 1 of the International Convention on Training and Certification of Seafarers and Watchkeeping of 1978, as amended;
- compliance with the practical training requirements laid down in regulation III / 6 of the International Convention on Training and Certification of Seafarers and Watchkeeping, 1978, as amended.
