Learning outcomes

Knowledge

Upon completing the course, the students will:

  • Have basic knowledge of environmental loads on offshore structures in the arctic.
  • Have basic understanding of the mechanics of ice and material properties in arctic temperature conditions.
  • Get updated information about oil and gas resources in the Arctic.
  • Arctic law and logistics is part of this the course as well.
