The academy shall offer its students and trainees a maritime education and training program, which aims to produce seafarers who will have adequate knowledge, attitudes and skills for pursuing their respective professional career, and which complies with internationally accepted standards, specifically International Maritime Organization (IMO) standards.
Marine engineers are skilled individuals involved in the design, construction and maintenance of vehicles and structures used on or around water. Marine engineering technology and techniques are used to create cruise ships, oil platforms and harbors.
