The design, construction and maintenance of ships, boats and related equipment are learned in this program. It also involves formulation and damage control rules and the approval and certification of ship designs to meet statutory and non-statutory requirements. As the Philippines is ranked 4th worldwide in ship building Naval Architecture is gaining popularity among students planning to make a career in the maritime industry.
Application procedure
Admission Requirements for Foreign Students (Incoming Freshmen) As per ACFS Memo Order No., Series 2000, Office of the President of the Philippines:
1. Letter of Application/Intent, address to the Registrar
2. If qualified, the following are required:
2.1 Six(6) copies of the Original Personal History Statement (PHS) and Student’s Admission Review Checklist (REG – 2C) with 2x2 colored picture of the application.
2.2 Original and Two (2) copies of all pages of the academic records (diploma, report cards, mark sheets, etc.) of the applicant with seal of the Philippines Embassy or Consulate in the country of origin of the applicant.
2.3 Original and Two (2) photocopies of the affidavit of support.
2.4 The Statement of Adequate Financial Capabilities.
2.5 Three (3) photocopies of the passport (with photo, information and birth certificate of the applicant) authenticated by the Philippines Consul.
2.6 Alien Certification Registration (ACR).
2.7 Photocopy of Student Visa.
