Eligibility: A pass in Plus-two (12th Standard) or its equivalent, with minimum 60% aggregate in Maths, Physics and Chemistry group and at least 50% marks in English.
Passport is mandatory.

Medical Standard:Candidates should be physically fit for sea service under standard norms, with eyesight 6/6 in better eye, 6/9 in other eye and with no colour blindness

Programme Educational Objectives (PEO)
PEO1: Become successful navigating officer who are able to be competent, innovative and productive in addressing the needs of the Industry and to pursue higher education and research as well.

PO1: Apply knowledge of mathematics and science, and engineering in their specialization involving complex engineering problems.

PSO1: Attain proficiency in all aspects of Navigation and ship board operations, and also excel in problem solving by operating as a team to find solutions of various issues in that may arise on board the ship.
PSO2: Operate effectively in a professional environment by executing quality cargo related work on board ships and applying modern tools and techniques of navigation and cargo systems.
