Contamination caused by human activity degrades the environment around us and the quality of life.

Environmental engineering is the engineering branch concerned with the application of scientific and engineering principles to assess, control and manage the contamination, and to protect human health and the environment.

Environmental engineering primarily focuses on environmental issues such as water, soil, air, and marine pollution, and their remediation in engineering perspectives.

This field is one of the six leading technologies supported by the Korean government, and highly qualified environmental engineers have been continuously on demand in many industrial sectors and public institutions in the country.

Our graduate program is developed not only for those with undergraduate degrees in engineering disciplines but also for other fields such as Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, and many others.
