Doctorate in Marine Science, Technology and Management
The doctoral program DO*MAR originated from the “Campus de Excelência Internacional Campus do Mar”, as the result of the will of the universities of Vigo, Santiago de Compostela, Coruña, Aveiro, Minho and Trás-os- Montes e Alto Douro, of the CSIC and of the IEO, of creating an International Post-Graduate School of Excellence, offering post-graduate formation with a global vision and pluriannual planning, of transboudary and international character, that may attract students of various nationalities who consider the group of institutions created around the Campus do Mar as their preferred place to receive formation at Ph.D level. The mission of the DO*MAR doctoral program is to form the best professionals and researchers in the area of Marine Sciences, Tecnologies and Management in their different economic and social applications, promoting quality research with international impact and providing the industry with the best tools to improve its competitiveness at the global scale.
