Shipbuilding and marine sectors have been given great attention as national key industries.
As such, we are required to foster top-level engineers who are able to actively cope with related technologies in the changing reality of the traditional manufacturing industries by merging with high technology (e.g., machinery, environment, energy, automation).
As a future-oriented department, the department of marine engineering fosters professional manpower with operation, design and development abilities through extensive knowledge acquisition and practice with advanced science and technology application fields required for shipbuilding and marine businesses.
It is composed of masters and doctoral degree programs.
