A cradle for global business professionalsThe continuing expansion of International trade and the rapid economic growth of China have made Korea more important as a leading country in the region of Northeast Asia. We are facing a new era in which we should find a new dynamic for growth through trade connected by an efficient system of logistics. To respond to this demand, the division aims at producing_ professionals who can think creatively and compete with others in the global market with their professional knowledge in traditional fields of trade and shipping transport and area economy. At the same time, the division is making efforts to produce core professionals for the country targeting global economy through education in such various fields as foreign exchange, finance, harbor, insurance, and E-business.
This course provides theorectical foundations in the entire field of social science. As a course offered by the Korea Maritime and Ocean University, it is intrinsically tailered towards marine elements, including fundamental subjects in international shipping and maritime economics.
