The UMIP offers graduates of this degree knowledge about the procedures of import operations, export, and transshipment of goods in a port terminal; the legal aspects that regulate the national port institutions, as well as the basic principles in the planning, organization, direction, control, and costing in the services of the port industry. It will also be able to supervise all the personnel and operations that are developed within the port system, will be able to evaluate and analyze the conditions that could affect the development of maritime transport, know the maritime legislation in the national and international field. The graduate will have character, responsibility, and tolerance, will act as a true agent of change. It will be able to make decisions and take actions that favor the protection of the environment and will be committed to the development and welfare of your society.

Objective

To provide students with the knowledge to perform successfully in high-level professional positions in maritime activities in terms of logistics and intermodal transport. Develop skills for its practical application in the logistics areas, modernizing the management of logistics applications through work tools.
