Ship Operation and Management enhances the knowledge of a student so that he/she learns the basics of maritime studies and have on-board experiences. This major educates deeper into ship navigation, management, and mission resources. After graduation with all requirements completed, the ship officer is given a wide variety of careers such as, ship captain, port captain, ship pilot, etc.

The Division of Navigation Science focuses and researches on maritime knowledge in order to emphasize and to expertise in high-tech automated vessels and management of the ships.The curriculum of this department is divided into maritime courses, shipping, and experiencing maritime industries to complete this major. The maritime courses provided in this department cover the basic courses, engineering, and natural science for a student to acquire the license that leads him/her to become a navigation officer. The Division of Navigation Science is divided into three majors, which are: Ship Operation and Management, Nautical Traffic Information, and Marine Safety Policy.
