This is a 4-semester program comprising 3 academic semesters and one semester-long industrial or academic internship.

It covers all aspects of ship design: structural calculations, propulsion, hydrodynamics, stability, maneuverability, ergonomics…

The students are also made aware of the issues surrounding the ship of the future: safer, cleaner, more sustainable, economical and intelligent.

Learning outcomes

Graduates of the Advanced Master are suited to major positions in naval architecture, project management, study, research, business engineering and shipyard supervision.

They use their skills in major groups, SMEs, naval architectural offices or research centers.

Prerequisites

Degree Requirements
Holding a degree, either a Master’s degree or the equivalent of a 5-year university/engineering school degree or APEL (Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning).

Language requirements
To apply to ENSTA Bretagne, students must provide proof of French language proficiency (minimum A2) with an official certification (TCF, DELF, DALF, TFI) and an English language certification (A2 level minimum).
