Marine biologist from UDEC is a professional with a solid knowledge in basic sciences, marine ecology, aquaculture and fishing. This allows him/her to perform satisfactorily in public and private sectors. This bachelor's degree also facilitates the continuity to postgraduate studies. He/she is capable of managing and implementing research and productivity projects in marine sciences. It promotes managing and omptimisation of processes related with aquaculture, hydrobiologic resources, conservation of the environment and biodiversity.
These studies are taught under a perspective with a high degree of social commitment, etics and ability to integrate multidisciplinary teams.

Public and private institutions in charge of planification, investigation and exploration of marine resources. In universities which study the sea in its different oceanographic aspects and, in general, in entities applied to investigation, aquaculture, management of aquatic renewable resources.
