The Faculty of Marine Engineering offers studies in English in Mechanical Engineering field with specialization in  Marine Propulsion Plant and Offshore Construction Operation.

The aim of studies in Marine Engineering is to prepare high class experts in marine power plant operation.

Graduates are prepared to:

  • supporting the work of engineering tasks simple design, choice of materials used as components of engineering machinery, and supervision of their operation,
  • work in a team,
  • diagnosis of technical condition of individual machines and equipment,
  • organize, manage and perform repairs of marine equipment,
  • coordination of work related to the marine power plant operation.

Moreover, the graduate has detailed, expanded knowledge and skills necessary to understand the issues of the construction, manufacturing and operation of marine machines. He has in-depth knowledge of the principles of mechanics as well as detailed knowledge, profiled in the operation of power equipment and marine installations.
