Learning Objective:

Academic Programs : Curriculum Department of Water Technologies is a track and field courses include teaching and research thesis combines the content in marine sciences and technology content owners chemical bonds help develop tools to promote marine research.

Objectives of the Academic and Training Program : Research subjects in many marine sciences and embracing diverse areas of knowledge but having a common challenge; They require the use of advanced engineering means specifically developed for this purpose. In Israel, in this area of engineering research and technological infrastructure development for deep sea research there is a significant gap in both knowledge and manpower.

The main goal of the Department is to address the existing gap through the study of innovative marine technologies and professional personnel training that will contribute to the establishment, promotion and innovation of research in the various marine sciences. Graduates of the program will be involved in research and development in academic and industrial settings in this field in Israel. Another purpose of the department is to serve as a national technological and scientific infrastructure for deep sea knowledge and equipment. The training in the department combines expertise in engineering, technology and marine sciences. The research will focus on developing the challenges of sea research through the development of advanced technologies such as: innovative topics in underwater robotic vehicles, advanced underwater sensors (optical, acoustic and more) and their information processing, communication and underwater navigation.
The department's curriculum will cover a wide range of topics including marine and technological issues in their marine context. Students will also learn experimental methods for marine research while emphasizing the application of advanced technologies in experimental research and will participate in research trips where they will acquire knowledge in operating and developing advanced marine technological tools.

The target audience of the program is Bachelor of Science and Engineering graduates, who aspire to specialize in marine technologies and seek to base their academic and professional activities on in-depth knowledge grounded in broad-based vision.
