The degree in Marine Science qualifies, via the acquisition of competences, the individual to undertake professional practice in all areas related to Marine Science and its scientific/technical development. The main professional areas for which graduates will be qualified are the management and organisation of marine and coastal resources, oceanography, fishing and fishery organisation, aquaculture, training and research, and administration and business management.
