Em profissões liberais, consultadorias e assessorias e mesmo no estabelecimento de novas empresas, especialmente em áreas de inovação biotecnológica, aquacultura e valorização de produtos.
Em entidades relacionados com a preservação e conservação do meio ambiente, em Associações de pescadores ONGs , e mesmo em empresas de pesca, como técnicos de laboratório, de amostragem, e de monitorização.Em estações de cultivo de organismos marinhos, como técnico de laboratório.
Conditions of access:
a) Degree in Biology or related field by a Portuguese university;
b) Holders of a foreign higher education degree equivalent to a 1st cycle of studies organized in accordance with the Bologna Process by a state adhering to this process;
c) Holders of a foreign higher education degree that is recognized as meeting the objectives of the degree of “licenciado” (bachelor of science);
d) Holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum attesting to the ability of the candidate to carry out the Master of Science in Aquaculture and Fisheries.
The acceptance of a candidate based on criteria b) to d) is the responsibility of the Scientific Council (Conselho Científico) of the Faculty of Sciences and Technology (Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia) of Algarve University and does not confer to the candidate formal recognition or equivalency to the degree of “licenciado” or any other academic degree.
