One of the distinctive features of the Degree in Marine Sciences from the University of Alicante is that it consists of two Itineraries: Itinerary Marine Resources and Itinerary of the Coastal Marine Environment. Students have the possibility to choose between both itineraries or even not to choose an itinerary and to take the optional subjects that they consider most attractive for their training. Once the degree is passed, the title of Degree in Marine Sciences qualifies students for professional practice in the different activities related to marine science and its scientific-technical development, both from the basic point of view and applied. This degree will allow the future graduate to practice professional oceanography at a basic level and applied in different fields.
