The Engineering Technician course trains you to become an engineer with broad technical knowledge. You are involved in the entire process from design to development, maintenance and automation of products and projects. So you learn to design, program, technical drawing and control machines, among other things. It brings together techniques in the field of Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering and applied ICT. Scalda also focuses on technical innovations in terms of energy and smart technology. Various modules are under development. With this training you can go in any direction.
Prerequisites
a VMBO-K, -G or -T diploma with mathematics or physics and chemistry as an examination subject ;
a transition certificate to HAVO 4 or VWO 4 with mathematics or physics and chemistry in your profile or;
a HAVO diploma with the profile Nature & Technology or Nature & Health (entry into year 2 is then possible) or;
an MBO diploma level 2 or 3.
