Marine Electronics and Automation Higher Professional Technical Course (CTESP-MEA) aims at preparing a technical specialist capable of, autonomously or included in a team, take a specific role in electronics and automation, use and repair the different equipment from different technology generations and include the necessary changes to improve the performance and reliability of the equipment. The main professional fields are merchant, fishing and recreational vessels, port terminals, shipbuilding and ship repair yards, offshore platforms, as well as the industry and services sectors and related areas.
Grant opportunities
The scholarship is an annual cash benefit to share the cost of attending a course or carrying out a mandatory professional internship, awarded by the State, on a non-refundable basis, whenever the household in which the student is part of does not have an adequate minimum level of financial resources.
The scholarship is awarded for a full academic year, with the exceptions provided.
Prerequisites
High school graduates or other legally equivalent qualification;
Over -23s approved in specially suitable tests to assess higher education attendance capacity;
Holders of a Technological Specialization Diploma, of a Higher Professional Technical Diploma or higher education graduates can also apply to Higher Professional Technical Courses
