Training of graduates of this specialty is aimed at:
effective preparation of various documentation (design, technological, design, etc.);
conducting research on the development of projects of ships and floating structures.
Graduates can work:
- In production: technologist, foreman, site manager, etc.
- In design organizations: designer, junior researcher, researcher, senior researcher and above.
- Supervisory bodies: inspector, surveyor.
While studying at ONMU, students are given the opportunity to participate in various international scholarship educational programs, which allows them to study at EU and US universities in bachelor's and master's programs.
Undergraduate graduates have the opportunity to continue their studies at Ålesund University College (Norway) under the master's program "SHIP DESIGNE" under a grant from the Government of Norway.
