The OPITO approved ERRV Crew Fast Rescue Craft Boatman training course meets the initial emergency response training requirements for the role of an ERRV Fast Rescue Craft (FRC) Boatman.
Prerrequisitos
In order to complete an OPITO approved ERRV Crew Fast Rescue Craft Boatman training course, delegates must hold a valid OPITO approved ERRV Crew Initial Training Shipboard Operations certificate or reassessment to an equivalent standard through the OODTP.

Delegates completing an OPITO approved ERRV Crew Fast Rescue Craft Boatman training course will be able to;
- Assist in the preparation, launch and recovery of the FRC
- Assist in the rescuing and recovering of a casualty
- Assess and treat a casualty's injuries
- Perform basic boat handling and use of communication equipment
- Perform towing operations
