The University of Oviedo is an excellent destination for students and researchers. The Master in Marine Conservation is aimed at students with a Bachelor or Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Environmental Sciences, Marine Sciences, Chemistry or Geology.
Graduates of the master will be trained to assess, understand and investigate the state of the marine environment, as well as the management of Marine Conservation.

There are different scholarships and grants available to University students to sustain their studies. The catalogue is extensive and ranges from tuition to materials, travel expenses, accommodation, and national and international mobility.

In addition to the call for general grants and mobility grants from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, including grants for tuition, materials, travel expenses, accommodation and final degree projects, the University of Oviedo devotes a significant portion of its budget to student grants and aid/scholarships.

The University's own programme represents one of the means contributing to the implementation of the principle of equal opportunities in exercising the right to education safeguarded in the Constitution.

The profile of graduates will be that of specialists in Research and Management of Marine Conservation.

Professional opportunities related to the conservation and exploitation of marine resources, including land planning and natural areas management, aquiculture, ecological tourism and others.

Prerrequisitos

Any person who has an official Spanish university degree, or a degree issued by a higher education institution of the EHEA that enables the degree issuing country to access official Master's degrees. Likewise, students with a foreign degree (external to the EESS) may also take this homologation, or without homologation, provided that the level of training is equivalent to the bachelor's degrees and that it enables the issuing country to access official Master's degrees.

The Master is aimed at students with a Bachelor or Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Environmental Sciences, Marine Sciences, Chemistry or Geology. For students who do not have this profile, postgraduate studies in the aforementioned disciplines will be valued.
