Objective:

The Professional Technician course in Networks and Computer Systems (TeSPRSI) aims to train professionals able to carry out planning, installation, configuration, management and maintenance of computer equipment with emphasis on port systems, ensuring the optimization of their operation and implementing appropriate security mechanisms. Port management and all its activity is based on port computer systems, such as the Single Port Window and the Single Logistics Window. Systems interconnected electronically with other platforms such as customs, Terminals and Stations, VTS (Maritime Traffic Systems) and AIS (System of Automatic Identification), Billing, Geographic Information Systems and mobile operators. The existence of senior technicians in computer technologies and data networks is therefore critical to the smooth operation of cross-platform interconnection.
The more specific knowledge of a trained Techinician in Networks and Computer Systems in maritime activities allows for the provision of more qualified professionals in the complex area of maritime port activities. The TeSPRSI course confers content for CISCO certification - CCNA Routing & Switch related to the area of computer networks. Students completing the Data Network UCs receive a certificate of proficiency passed by Cisco, qualification to obtain the IT professional certifications recognized by the industry, including the shipping industry and maritime and logistical agents (Window Only Port and Single Logistics Window).
