General information

The course is aimed to introduce the student on the fundamental notions and practical use of common data analysis techniques in Oceanography. The course is focused on three blocks: Stochastic processes, Time series and Spatial Series.

Probability concepts: porbability and stochastic processes, time series and spatial analysis. The course includes the resolution of theoretical and practical exercises with real oceanographic data and some elementary computer programming.
