The Bachelor Degree in Deck and Bridge Operations aims to train Officers not of only for the Portuguese but for the International Merchant Marine in accordance with the standards defined  by the STCW Convection - International Maritime Organization (IMO)'s International Convention on Standards Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers. 

Running a container ship, a cruise ship, a tanker or a bulk carrier is an experience that is within your reach.

The Bachelor's Degree in Piloting is intended to form National and International Merchant Marine Piloting Officers, in accordance with the training standards established by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers. Pilot Officers also have high demand for the performance of shore-based activities related to the Maritime-Port Sector. The sea experience develops unique skills that are highly valued in multiple activities on land linked to the Sea Cluster.

The Higher Education Nautical School Infante D. Henrique (ENIDH) is a polytechnic public higher education institution with statutory, scientific, pedagogical, administrative, financial, patrimonial and disciplinary autonomy. ENIDH is the only Portuguese national school dedicated to the formation of Officers of the Merchant Navy and senior managers of the Maritime-Port sector in the areas of Intermodality, Management and Logistics. It is the responsibility of the School to provide a solid cultural, scientific and technical training, to develop the capacity for innovation and critical analysis and to provide scientific knowledge in a theoretical and practical nature directed to the performance of activities characteristic of the Maritime-Port sector.
