This training is part of a series of courses offered by Mari4_YARD, an EU funded project that leverages the potential of Internet of Things (IoT), mobile and ubiquitous ICT tools, and robotics to develop user-centric solutions for flexible and modular manufacturing and thus implement a novel connected shipyard.
This training activity will provide knowledge for High Payload Robot (HPR)-based shipbuilding operations for heavy parts manipulation and welding operations. The sessions will include theoretical information and hands-on experience for the design and implementation of safety systems for HRC, Digital twin technology for autonomous robot motions and task executions along with direct (hand guiding) and indirect (AR-pen) robot programming and interaction. Process perception for robot motion will also be discussed.
Topics:
- Safety in HRC
- Digital twin technology and autonomous robots
- Direct and indirect HR interaction
- Process perception for bin picking
Note that the training is online but if you are attending the Automation and Robotics Expo in Athens, you can join the trainer on-site for further explanations.
By registering, you can book one of the following four 75-minute slots available:
