The Mechanical Engineering course focuses on higher-level training with scientific and technical knowledge appropriate to the functions to be performed by the mechanical engineer.
Application procedure
Applications to public higher education are made annually through national competitions and/or special competitions.
Grant opportunities
Merit scholarships are awarded by the Directorate-General for Higher Education to students who have achieved outstanding academic success, regardless of their income.
Learning outcomes
This training is complemented by a strong practical component, with a view to enabling graduates to easily enter the job market. To this end, it brings together a set of disciplines aimed at the most current aspects (energy and environment in the Thermal branch and management in the Industrial Management and Maintenance branch), with another set of “classic” Mechanical Engineering disciplines, not forgetting initial training in the Basic Sciences of Engineering and in the Social Sciences.
